Measuring 55 x 48 cm, it brushes dirt from shoes while the PVC-backed rubber base helps it stay in place.

Styling

A natural fit for coastal homes, beach huts and pastel interiors, the shell shape becomes a talking point for visitors. Try it in front of a soft white or sky-blue door for a breezy, seaside feel.

How to Use

Lay the mat flat in front of the door with the backing underneath, and give your shoes a firm wipe across the coir as you come in. New coir can shed a few loose fibres at first, so give it a good shake outdoors during the first few weeks. To keep it looking its best, shake it out or brush it regularly to remove trapped dirt, and avoid abrasive cleaners.

Dimensions & Specifications

Width: 55 cm

Depth: 48 cm

Height: 2 cm

Materials: Coir with a PVC-backed rubber base

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the mat made of?
Coir with a PVC-backed rubber base.

What size is it?
It measures 55 x 48 cm, 2 cm high.

How do I clean it?
Shake it out or brush it regularly to remove trapped dirt, and avoid abrasive cleaners.

Will it stay in place?
The PVC backing is designed to help the mat grip smooth floors such as tiles, laminate and wood and to reduce movement underfoot.

Can it be used outdoors?
For the longest life, use it inside the door or in a sheltered, covered porch.
