This is an all-aluminium espresso maker — also called a moka pot or stovetop percolator — designed to make two espresso-style coffees from one brew, straight into your cups sitting on the cup rests. Its compact size makes it easy to take travelling or camping.

How To Use

Remove the cup support base, then fill the heater with cold water, not exceeding the safety valve level (this gives you at least 100ml). Insert the funnel filter and fill it with a fine-to-medium Moka-ground coffee, without pressing it down. Reassemble and place on a gas or electric hob.

Care Instructions

Clean with warm water and a 3:1 water-to-vinegar solution rather than detergent, then rinse thoroughly and dry all parts completely before storing. Never put it in the dishwasher. Don't let the flame extend beyond the sides of the pot when heating, and let the base cool before cleaning. Move the knob at the centre of the safety valve weekly to prevent limescale build-up.
