Love your Bialetti Moka pot but have an induction hob? The Bialetti Induction Plate is the solution, letting your aluminium stovetop coffee maker work flawlessly on induction cooktops with even heat distribution for a rich, authentic espresso.

Diameter: 13cm. Material: high-grade stainless steel. Suitable for stovetop coffee makers up to 6 cup. There isn't a larger adapter plate available for 9, 12 or 18 cup stovetops — for larger sizes, consider the Venus Induction range instead.

How To Use

Place your prepared moka pot (filled with water and coffee) onto the plate first, then place the plate onto your induction hob and turn on to a medium heat setting — never the highest setting. Once the coffee is ready, turn off the hob and remove the moka pot from the plate, then remove the plate and leave it to cool before handling.

Care Instructions

Hand wash only — not dishwasher safe. Always place your stovetop maker on the plate before starting to heat, and never heat the plate without a pot on top of it, as it can overheat and become damaged. Never heat a stovetop maker without water in the chamber.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will this work with larger stovetop sizes?
It's designed for use with sizes up to and including a 6 cup stovetop maker. There isn't a larger adapter plate available for 9, 12 or 18 cup sizes — the Venus Induction range is a better fit for those.

Does the plate get hot during use?
Yes — just like the stovetop itself, it becomes very hot. Handle with care and allow it to cool before touching.

Can I use it on high heat?
No — always use a medium heat setting to avoid overheating the plate.

Is it dishwasher safe?
No — hand wash only.

Can I use it for anything other than a moka pot?
It's designed for stovetop coffee makers; always place a suitable pot or pan on it before heating rather than using it empty.
