The Moka Express, Reimagined for Induction

The Bialetti Moka Induction brings the true Italian ritual of stovetop coffee to modern induction hobs. It's built on innovative bi-layer boiler technology, so you don't have to give up genuine Moka brewing just because you've switched hobs.

Bi-Layer Boiler Technology

The double-layer boiler combines a steel base for induction compatibility with an aluminium body for the even heat distribution that gives proper Moka extraction — the same patented, easy-to-clean Bialetti safety valve, now on a hob-friendly base.

Dimensions

Country of origin: Romania. Material: stainless steel, aluminium, silicone and plastic.

4 Cup: 16cm (H) x 10cm (W), 0.5kg, approx. 150ml serving.
6 Cup: 20.5cm (H) x 11.5cm (W), 0.9kg, approx. 280ml serving.

How To Use

Pour water into the boiler up to the safety valve, insert the funnel and fill it with ground coffee without pressing it down. Close the pot tightly and place on the hob at medium temperature. Once the coffee gurgles as it rises to the top chamber, turn off the heat and enjoy.

Care Instructions

Rinse with water only after each use — don't use detergents. Never wash in the dishwasher, as this can damage the product and affect the taste of your coffee. Dry all parts thoroughly before storing, and move the knob at the centre of the safety valve weekly to prevent limescale build-up.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does this work on all hob types?
Yes — the bi-layer boiler design means it works on induction as well as gas and electric hobs.

What coffee grind should I use?
A consistent fine-to-medium grind — similar to a Moka-specific ground coffee like Bialetti's Perfetto Moka.

How is this different from the standard Moka Express?
The brewing principle is identical; the Moka Induction has a steel-and-aluminium bi-layer base so it also works on induction hobs, which the original aluminium Moka Express can't.

Can I put it in the dishwasher?
No — hand rinse only, as dishwashers can damage the finish and affect flavour.

Which size should I choose?
4 cup suits one or two people's daily coffee; 6 cup suits couples or small households wanting more in one brew.
