Mediterranean Summer in Your Coffee Ritual

The Bialetti X Dolce&Gabbana Blu Mediterraneo Coffee Press blends Bialetti's brewing quality with Dolce&Gabbana's artistic vision, reflecting the purity of white and intensity of blue from the Blu Mediterraneo collection. This is a French press, not a stovetop moka pot — built for immersion brewing rather than heat.

Handcrafted, One of a Kind

Every piece is made by hand using a water transfer process, so while the general design is consistent, no two pieces are exactly alike — you own something genuinely unique.

Dimensions

Country of origin: China. Material: stainless steel, glass and plastic. The glass beaker is thermoshock-resistant borosilicate glass.

1 Mug (3 tazze): 12cm (L) x 8.5cm (W) x 20cm (H), 0.67kg, 350ml capacity.
3 Mug (8 tazze): 16cm (L) x 11cm (W) x 22.5cm (H), 0.5kg, 1L capacity.

Note: cafetiere "tazze" sizing refers to small cups; a "mug" here is based on a 325ml serve.

How To Use

Add a coarse grind to the beaker, pour over hot water, let it steep for a few minutes, then press the plunger down slowly and evenly to separate the grounds before pouring.

Care Instructions

Always wash by hand — never in the dishwasher. Soak the filter in warm soapy water, or use a coffee cleaner, to remove built-up coffee oils and keep every cup tasting fresh. Never force the glass beaker into the frame.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I buy a replacement glass beaker?
We don't sell spare beakers directly, but all cafetiere glass beakers are standard sizes, so any generic 3 cup/350ml or 8 cup/1L beaker should fit the frame. Occasionally glass tolerances mean a slight fit variation — never force it into place.

How often should I replace the metal filter?
Only when you notice wear or fraying, which may not happen for many years depending on use. Any generic 3 cup or 8 cup metal filter will fit as a replacement.

How do I clean it?
Hand wash only — soak the filter in warm soapy water or use a coffee cleaner to remove coffee oil build-up.

Why does each piece look slightly different?
The design is hand-applied via a water transfer process, so pattern placement naturally varies piece to piece — a feature of genuine craftsmanship, not a flaw.

Which size should I choose?
350ml suits solo brewing; 1L suits sharing or entertaining.

A Design Piece That Brews Beautifully
