Two Italian Icons, One Induction-Ready Brewer

The Bialetti X Dolce&Gabbana Sicilian Cart Moka Induction merges Bialetti's brewing expertise with Dolce&Gabbana's artistic vision, inspired by the "carretto siciliano" — the traditional Sicilian horse-drawn cart at the heart of the brand's design aesthetic — reimagined for induction hobs.

Bi-Layer Boiler Technology

This uses genuine bi-layer boiler construction: an outer steel layer for induction compatibility, and an inner aluminium layer for the even heat distribution that gives proper Moka extraction. The design is hand-applied, so pattern placement varies slightly piece to piece.

Dimensions

Country of origin: Italy. Material: stainless steel, aluminium, silicone and thermoplastic. Widths quoted are for the base without handle.

2 Cup: 9.6cm (W) x 14cm (H), 0.6kg, approx. 90ml serving.
4 Cup: 9.8cm (W) x 15.1cm (H), 0.67kg, approx. 185ml serving.

How To Use

Fill the lower chamber with water to just below the safety valve, add a medium-fine Moka-ground coffee to the funnel without pressing it down, and brew on the hob until it rises fully. Always brew the full amount suited to your pot's size — don't half-fill a 4 cup expecting a 2 cup result.

Care Instructions

Clean with warm water and a 3:1 water-to-vinegar solution rather than detergent, then rinse thoroughly and dry all parts completely before storing. Never put it in the dishwasher. Don't let the flame extend beyond the sides of the pot when heating, and let the base cool before cleaning.

Frequently Asked Questions

What stovetops can this be used on?
Gas, ceramic, electric and induction.

How is this different from the Moka Express?
The Moka Induction has a steel base for induction compatibility; the classic aluminium Moka Express is designed for gas or electric only.

Can I buy replacement parts?
Yes — gasket, filter and filter funnel are available; search for the standard Moka Induction part in your size, as it fits this model too.

What grind should I use?
A consistent fine-to-medium grind, similar to a Moka-specific ground coffee like Bialetti's Perfetto Moka.

Is the design just on the exterior?
Yes — the Sicilian Cart pattern is hand-applied to the exterior, so each piece is a genuine, functional piece of Italian design.

Induction-Ready, Without Compromise

For anyone who's switched to an induction hob but still wants genuine stovetop Moka coffee, this collaboration delivers both authentic brewing and Dolce&Gabbana's artistry in one piece.
