Ancient Salt. Modern Bath. Proper Minerals.

The Eco Bath London Himalayan Bath Salt is 100% pure pink salt, sourced from ancient sea beds in the foothills of the Himalayas and free from additives, preservatives, or processing agents. It is naturally rich in magnesium, calcium, and potassium — minerals that absorb transdermally during bathing to soften skin, ease muscle tension, and support the body's natural detoxification processes.

Available in two grades — fine and coarse — each suited to a different use. Both are the same pure Himalayan pink salt; the difference is purely in the crystal size and what that makes them best for. At 1 kg per pack, there's enough for multiple baths, foot soaks, or body scrubs.

Choose Your Grade

Fine Grade (ECOB230)
Fine crystals dissolve quickly in warm water, making this the better choice for baths and foot soaks where you want the minerals to disperse evenly and absorb efficiently. Also works well as a gentle body exfoliant when mixed with a carrier oil.

Coarse Plain (ECOB231)
Larger crystals dissolve more slowly, making this the better choice for body scrubs where you want the physical texture of the salt to do the exfoliating work. Also suitable for baths where a slower mineral release is preferred.

Key Features

100% pure Himalayan pink salt
No additives, no preservatives, no processing agents. Just salt, as it was formed over 250 million years ago in ancient sea beds beneath the Himalayan mountains.

Naturally rich in minerals
Magnesium supports muscle relaxation and skin softening; calcium strengthens the skin barrier; potassium helps balance moisture levels. All three are present naturally in Himalayan pink salt.

Three uses in one product
Use in the bath for a full-body mineral soak, in a foot basin for a targeted foot soak, or mixed with a carrier oil as a nourishing body scrub. The fine grade suits all three; the coarse grade is particularly effective as a scrub.

Eco-friendly packaging
Packaged by Eco Bath London with sustainability in mind, consistent with their commitment to environmentally responsible personal care products.

Origin: Himalayan foothills

How to Use

For a bath: Add 1–2 cups (approximately 250–500 g) of Himalayan bath salt to warm running water and allow to dissolve fully before stepping in. Soak for 20–30 minutes. Pat skin dry after bathing.

For a foot soak: Add approximately half a cup (125 g) of salt to a basin of warm water. Soak feet for 15–20 minutes to relieve tired, aching feet and soften rough skin.

As a body scrub: Mix a generous handful of salt (fine or coarse) with your preferred carrier oil — coconut, almond, or olive oil all work well. Apply to damp skin using circular motions, focusing on rough areas such as elbows, knees, and heels. Rinse thoroughly. Do not use on broken or irritated skin.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between fine grade and coarse plain?
Fine grade crystals are smaller and dissolve more quickly in water, making them ideal for baths and foot soaks. Coarse plain crystals are larger and dissolve more slowly, making them better suited to body scrubs where the physical texture of the salt provides the exfoliating action. Both are the same pure Himalayan pink salt.

Why is Himalayan salt pink?
The pink colour comes from trace minerals — primarily iron oxide — that are naturally present in the salt. The colour intensity can vary between batches depending on the mineral concentration, but this does not affect the quality or effectiveness of the salt.

How much salt should I use per bath?
1–2 cups (approximately 250–500 g) per bath is the recommended amount. At this rate, a 1 kg pack provides 2–4 full baths.

Is this suitable for sensitive skin?
Yes. Pure Himalayan salt contains no additives or synthetic ingredients. However, if you have broken, irritated, or very reactive skin, avoid using salt scrubs on affected areas and consult a dermatologist if in doubt.

Can I use this as a body scrub?
Yes. Mix with a carrier oil and apply to damp skin in circular motions. The fine grade provides a gentler scrub; the coarse grade provides a more vigorous exfoliation. Rinse thoroughly after use.

Is this the same salt used in Himalayan salt lamps?
It is the same source material — Himalayan pink salt from the same ancient sea beds — but this product is specifically food-safe and bath-grade, sourced and packaged for personal care use by Eco Bath London.
