The Original Moka, Engineered for Induction
The original Moka Express is a work of art, with its design featured in London's Design Museum. The Moka Induction Exclusive builds on that same engineering, adding a stainless steel circular base that makes it compatible with induction hobs — alongside gas and electric.
The Same Trusted Brewing Method
The steel base is what sets this apart from the classic aluminium Moka Express, which is designed for gas or electric only. Everything else about the brewing process remains the same genuine Moka Express experience.

How To Use
Fill the lower chamber with water to just below the safety valve. Fill the funnel with ground coffee without tamping it down, screw the top and bottom together, and place on a gas, electric or induction hob.
Care Instructions
Fill the boiler with hot water (3 parts) and vinegar (1 part) and place on the hob until the liquid appears. Repeat twice more without the vinegar, then rinse under running water. Ensure all parts are thoroughly dry before storing — insufficient drying can cause discolouration in the water chamber, which isn't covered by the Bialetti guarantee, though the product will still work.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which hobs can this be used on?
Gas, electric and induction.
Can I buy replacement parts?
Yes — gasket, filter and filter funnel are available. Please note Bialetti recently updated this product, so spare parts sold currently aren't compatible with older models — check our stovetop spares guide if you're replacing a part on an older unit.
Is it made in Italy?
Yes — made in Coccaglio, near Bergamo.
What makes this different from the standard Moka Express?
The stainless steel base, which makes it induction-compatible, unlike the classic aluminium model.
How do I avoid discolouration in the chamber?
Dry all parts thoroughly after cleaning before putting them away.
