Casa by Josephine Jenno Brown Handwoven Rattan Tissue Box Cover 14 cm

A Quiet Ritual in Woven Brown

The Casa by Josephine Jenno Brown Handwoven Rattan Tissue Box Cover turns a cardboard tissue box into something you are happy to leave on show. Woven by hand from natural rattan in a warm, earthy brown, it forms a neat 14 cm cube with softly rounded corners, made for the bedside table, the bathroom shelf or anywhere tissues are reached for without a second thought.

Styling

Brown rattan brings warmth to calm, pared-back rooms. Set it beside a linen-shaded lamp and a stack of books on a nightstand, or pair it with stoneware and dried grasses on a bathroom shelf for an organic, lived-in look. It sits comfortably alongside oak, walnut and cane furniture.

How to Use

Place the cover over a cube-style tissue box so the tissues draw up through the top opening. Keep it wherever tissues are needed most, from the bedroom to the hallway console.

Frequently Asked Questions

What size is the brown rattan tissue box cover?
It measures 14 cm high, 14 cm wide and 14 cm deep, a cube shape intended for cube-style tissue boxes. We recommend checking the size of your usual tissues before ordering.

Is it really made by hand?
Yes. Each cover is hand-woven from rattan by artisan craftswomen in Myanmar.

Will mine look exactly like the photos?
Because every cover is woven by hand from a natural material, you may notice small variations in the weave and tone from one piece to the next. That is part of the character of handmade rattan.

How should I look after it?
A soft, dry brush or cloth is the simplest way to keep the weave free of dust. As with any natural rattan, avoid soaking it or leaving it in standing water.

Can I use it outside the bathroom?
Absolutely. It suits bedside tables, living-room side tables, desks and dressing tables just as well as a bathroom shelf.

Does it come in other colours?
Yes. The same hand-woven rattan cover is also available in green and white.
