A Classic Welcome in Panama Weave

The Filta Welcome Panama Coir Doormat sets a clear Welcome message on a Panama-style coir surface. The natural coir provides a practical brushing texture, and the rubber backing adds grip. At just 1 cm high and 0.72 kg, it is slim and lightweight.

Styling

Its traditional, natural look suits cottages, period homes and classic front doors in heritage shades. The slim profile makes it a good choice where door clearance is tight.

How to Use

Lay the mat flat in front of the door with the coir side up and give your shoes a firm wipe as you come in. Its slim profile helps the door clear it easily. New coir can shed a few loose fibres at first, so give it a good shake outdoors during the first few weeks. Care: Wash in warm soapy water.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the mat made of?
Rubber 50%, coir 50%.

What size is it?
It measures 60 x 40 cm, 1 cm high.

How do I clean it?
Wash in warm soapy water.

Will it stay in place?
The rubber backing is designed to help the mat grip smooth floors such as tiles, laminate and wood and to reduce movement underfoot.

Can it be used outdoors?
For the longest life, use it inside the door or in a sheltered, covered porch. Coir lasts best when it isn't left sitting in standing water.

Will my door open over it?
The mat is 1 cm high, so check the gap beneath your door if it opens inwards over the mat.
