Keep the Handle. Replace the Head. Waste Nothing.
The whole point of the Wild and Stone Wooden Dish Brush with Replaceable Head is that the handle lasts for years — only the bristle head needs replacing when it wears out. This is that replacement head. Handmade in Germany from FSC® certified beechwood and natural Tampico fibre bristles, it clicks into place with the metal clip on the handle in seconds, and goes straight into the home compost bin at end of life. No plastic. No waste. No need to replace the whole brush.

Why Tampico Fibre?
Tampico fibre is sourced from the Agave Lechuguilla cactus, grown naturally in Mexico. It is naturally strong, mildly abrasive, and more water-absorbent than plastic bristles — effective on grease and baked-on residue without scratching crockery or glassware under normal use. At end of life, the entire head — beechwood and Tampico bristles — is fully compostable.
How to Fit
Release the metal clip on your Wild and Stone dish brush handle, remove the worn head, and click the new replacement head into place. No tools required. The head is designed to fit the Wild and Stone Wooden Dish Brush with Replaceable Head handle specifically.
How to Care For
Rinse the head thoroughly after each use and allow to air dry — avoid leaving it soaking in hot water for extended periods, as this can soften the natural materials over time. Keep dry between uses to maximise bristle life. Always spot test on very delicate surfaces before use. When the bristles are worn, compost the head.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which brush handle does this fit?
This replacement head is designed to fit the Wild and Stone Wooden Dish Brush with Replaceable Head. It attaches via a metal clip on the handle — no tools required.
Is the handle included?
No — this listing is for the replacement head only. The handle is sold separately as the Wild and Stone Wooden Dish Brush with Replaceable Head.
Is the head compostable?
Yes, fully. Both the FSC® certified beechwood and the Tampico fibre bristles are biodegradable and can be composted at home at end of life.
What are Tampico bristles?
Tampico fibre comes from the Agave Lechuguilla cactus, grown naturally in Mexico. It is firm, mildly abrasive, and more water-absorbent than plastic — effective on grease and residue without scratching most surfaces.
How often should I replace the head?
This depends on frequency of use and care. With regular rinsing and air drying between uses, the head should last several months before the bristles show significant wear.
Why is it dispatched without packaging?
This is a packaging-free product, sent with only a label to eliminate unnecessary waste. The head itself is the product — no box required.
